about us

Sihamba Sonke meaning "Walking Together" in isiXhosa,

is a registered nonprofit organization based in the village of Zithulele in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, an extremely underdeveloped region close to where Nelson Mandela grew up.

We "Walk Together" with communities so that at the core of our "Restoration Movement", healthy relationship & family become foundational for sustainable impact.

Local youth with the courage to rise above their circumstances
are developed through community programmes,
using a whole-person approach.

Our strength to overcome lies in the power of togetherness
enabling the youth to live, teach & share their learnings,
driving the restoration movement.
